Though I have retired, I still enjoy talking about books and writing. I have appeared at the Cheltenham, Hay and Edinburgh book festivals, and spoken at schools around the UK, and as far away as Germany. I have talks prepared on nine topics, all with digital slide shows. Most are based on books I have written for children or adults, but two are about the process of writing.
